Deacon Tim Moving to a New Assignment in Flint Hill
We received word from the Archdiocese Deaconate Office that Deacon Tim Dallas will be moving to St. Theodore Parish in Flint Hill effective February 12, 2024.
Deacon Tim was ordained June 2, 2012 by Archbishop Carlson and assigned to St. Monica parish until November 2013 when he was assigned to St. Peter. He and Laura have been married since August 8, 1987, and have two children, Aaron and Beverly.
Tim has served St. Peter parish through ministries that include assisting at the celebration of the Eucharist,Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, presiding at Perpetual Help Devotions and Benediction. Tim also was one of our deacons who took the Body of Christ on Sundays to the incarcerated in our local jail. Tim’s real passion has been being part of the St. Vincent DePaul Society and helping prepare meals for the poor and needy at our monthly parish community dinners.
It is with sincere thanks to Deacon Tim and Laura for all they have done for the people of St. Peter parish, and we wish them well in their new beginning with the people of St. Theodore parish.
We pray to our Lord, Jesus Christ to give them health of body so they may serve with strength. Make them fertile ground for your inspiration and love. Comfort them when they question themselves and their ministry. Grant them grace as they age so they may share your wisdom. Make their hearts like yours so they may love your people. Amen.
A reception is planned for Sunday, February 11th after the 10:00 a.m. Mass in the St. Peter cafe.
